Tracks:  

1) Travel with Japan Airlines (JAL)  

JAL is the leading Japanese airline company, committed to building better experiences for travelers. In order reach the goal, JAL actively seeks partnerships and collaboration with the startup community.  

Track content:

Target situation in this track is shown below.

1. Planning stage before traveling
2. Procedure until getting on the airplane
3. Activities after getting off the airplane
4. Experience while traveling
5. Activities after we return home  

To win: Be creative with the tools given and create an awesome travel experience before and after take off!   

2) Robotics with SoftBank Group, Pepper  

At the track, Junction Asia participants are invited to advance the future of communication by using Pepper, be it in a family setting, communication with customers or even connecting people in general.

The prize will be given to the most innovative idea and the work made for the communication robot.  

3) Artificial Intelligence and Cloud with Intel/NEC/Levono, Realsense  

In this track, Junction Asia participants are free to use IoT, AR and VR technologies, as well as combining them with RealSense, to create new user experiences in home appliances.  

Technologies:RealSense, VR/AR, IoT UX Categories:e-Commerce, Education, Entertainment, Healthcare, Home Control, Cooking etc.  

IBM Bluemix for all tracks!

Bluemix enables organizations and developers to quickly and easily create, deploy, and manage applications on the cloud. Bluemix is an implementation of IBM's Open Cloud Architecture based on Cloud Foundry, an open source Platform as a Service (PaaS). Bluemix delivers enterprise-level services that can easily integrate with your cloud applications without you needing to know how to install or configure them.   Participants are free to use Bluemix in their projects at all tracks.   Themes: IoT, Air travel, e-commerce, virtual reality/augmented reality, cloud-computing etc

Day 2: Hacking, hacking, hacking
Day 3: More hacking and pitching presentation  

*You are free to leave the venue, you are not confined in the warehouse at night ;)  

Judges include Ryotaro Nakayama, CEO of crowdfunding service, Makuake, Takuma Iwasa, CEO of Cerevo, Daigo Sakaida, senior principal of Accenture Open Innovation Initiative and Kenneth Blomqvist, Co-Founder of Junction.   Winners stand a chance to present their pitch at Slush Asia in front of a panel of investors and industry experts on May 14th.
